What we do:

Serve as educational resource on Asian culture, art and tradition to surrounding communities to promote better understanding and harmonious relations.
AAWA members assist Asian women & minorities as a resource for job hunting, overcoming discrimination in the workplace and improve interviewing and English skills.
Provide fund raising events (Annual Ethnic Dance/Talent Show & Luncheon) to support Food Bank of Manatee County, SPARCC (Safe Place & Rape Crisis Center), Manatee County Food Bank, and State College of Florida (SCF) Scholarship Fund.
Hold monthly meetings at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall.
Sponsor both Cultural & Social Events for our members to enjoy.
