What we do:

Serve as educational resource on Asian culture, art and tradition to surrounding communities to promote better understanding and harmonious relations.
AAWA members assist Asian women & minorities as a resource for job hunting, overcoming discrimination in the workplace and improve interviewing and English skills.
Provide fund raising events (Orchid Ball) to support Food Bank of Manatee County, SPARCC ( Safe Place & Rape Crisis Center) and award Scholarships through State College of Florida (SCF)
Hold monthly meetings at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall
Sponsor both Cultural & Social Events for our members to enjoy.
